Any "cinematic" presets out there?

I know Guthrie Govan used his Fractal to create some wild soundscapes for the Dune soundtrack. I was wondering if there were any presets out there that were created for sound design.

Im not sure if the Guthrie GOT preset is meant to do this, I have no idea what im looking at with that preset lol.

i would add, it's almost trivial to create amazing sounding presets now that the reverbs and delays are so good. an afternoon spent investigating the available algorithms and making some long chains with what's on offer will reap dividends (and they'll be your creations)
I have a lot of ethereal sounds for sure, I was hoping for more out of the box sounds like the dune worm sound Guthrie did with the synth block and whatever else he used.

That preset was meant to be for his Aristocrats song “Aristoclub” listen to it and you will hear exactly what the weird sounds do

One thing to keep in mind is that some of the sounds in the Dune soundtrack are many tracks combined to create the soundscape. I believe I read that the "bagpipes" during the House Atreides landing required over 50 guitar tracks to create that score.

Yes thats very true. I love this interview revealing to the director that the bagpipes were Guthrie lol.

My wife had a similar reaction. I showed her some of the 'outside the box' sounds that the Axe III is capable of and she was amazed that a guitar was capable of such sounds.

I love the quote: "If you surround yourself with extraordinary musicians..." Hans Zimmer is the GOAT!

not sure how many will work on the fm9, because it has a lower block count, but you can download them and see...

These might be the best delay block presets ive ever heard. Incredibly lush and really well voiced for every single delay/multitap blocks. The other blocks are excellent too but the delay blocks really stand out.
Pretty much all of the Plex stuff is extremely high CPU and not really feasible without severely truncating your preset. But they sound great too.
Thanks for this resource!
