Analog sounding Delay

How do you make your delay sound analog ?
Normally I make a high cut at about 6000 hz and set the drive to around 4
Do you have other ideas of making it sound warmer and what does the filter slope do ?

filter slope: how much db will be reduced per delay cycle from the frequencies you select with the hi/lo filter.... i think?! Knowing most guitar cabs goes up to 4000-5000 Hz i think you have to cut really deeper to get affect?! I get result when cutting around 1000Hz - 2000Hz (!!!!)
