Analog Delay

Has anyone had good results with an analog delay out of the Ultra? I am trying to achieve something similar to the Carbon Copy or a Memory Man but I'm having a bit of trouble.

My best results in trying to get an analog delay is, setting the highcut to max 4000hz, drive 5 and to set the delay in parallel with a tape dist. afterwards to warm up the tails.

try these, buddy

i think external 1 is tied to the volume block after the cab, so disconnect if you get no sound

control the volume of the delay repeats with the volume block after the delay

control the amount of feedback with the level in the return block

careful, cos these will go into mad self oscillation if the return level is too high!

play with the HF roll off in the delay block. bring it down low, i think i went as low a 6k on a patch and it warmed it up well.

That will only get you part of the way there. Check out the patches I posted - the peq curves are more extreme than that
