Does anyone have a Holdsworth patch? I'm looking for the swelling chorus one but would appreciate anything.
 
almost any clean sound will do, cos the mojo is in the multitaps. i posted some fx blocks in the mother of all emulations thread, but i don't know if they will work on the II, as they were made on an ultra. just use two multi delay blocks on 100% wet either side of the main line. copy the settings from the UD stomp manual - http://www.simeonharris.co.uk/misc/udstomp.pdf - look for the first holdsy swell patch 221

There's another AH thread where I added a zip with all presets from that pdf that I could understand to convert.
 
I moved across Simeon's most recent Holdsworth lead patch to the Axe2, just trying to copy the settings manually. Anything good about this patch is him, anything bad is me missing something. :)

I doubt it'll sound very good... Patches don't translate well if all the settings are the same. I'll try it tomorrow and see how it compares to the other version.
 
Hey simeon, thanks for popping in! You did such a great job with the old patch I felt I just had to try to move it across - even with the format change it's much better than any attempt I've made, and I really dug playing with it over some fusiony backings today. :)

I've just spotted your Axe2 holdsworth thread, I'll just keep an eye out over there rather than cluttering everything up and you posting everywhere. :)
