Hi,
Have anyone got both tap and hold of a stand in switch working with an airstep button?
Thx,
Joakim

Yep, and the airstep has footswitch output witch I connect to the fm3. Airstep also have hold function if you like. I use those to eg switch between airstep presets.I thought the functionality of the stand-in switches only works with switches connected directly to the two pedal jacks on the FM3.
With the air step you probably just can use the, in the FM3 (user-)defined, MIDI commands. Although the airstrip by itself has some hold functions assignable maybe?

The problem I have is that I can’t seem to be able to use both tap and hold on the same stand in switch (fm3) from one button of Airstep. (As you can with a normal on off button connected to the fm3)
It can do both and none work for me (to trigger hold, press works fine)Is the Airstep’s footswitch output momentary or latching? Stand-in functions need a momentary switch.
I don’t know what that means.to trigger hold, press works fine
So, “to trigger hold, tap works fine.”Sorry for being unclear - hold=hold and press=tap
”It can do both and none work for me (to trigger hold, press works fine)”So, “to trigger hold, tap works fine.”
Sorry. Still don’t get it.
Okay, now I get it.”It can do both and none work for me (to trigger hold, press works fine)”
To clarify - the airstep can send both momentary or latching:
Neither is working to achieve a hold on the fm3 standin switch. Though press action on airstep achieve tap on the standin switch on the fm3
- On-momentary (selected)
- on-latching
- off-latching
