After a sound like Rosenwinkel / Metheny mix

Especially this vibe in terms of high strings. Can't seem to get close with any amp/cab match.

Also i love the timbré Pat Metheny has in Bright Size Life and Have You Heard album versions.

Trying with both Suhr Modern Mid-Output Neck pickup 0.10 Elixirs and 1978 Les Paul Neck pickup 0.12 flatwounds.

Can't get the attack well and,

Either chords are so boomy or the lines are so bright. What to do?

The attached Preset of mine should get you most of the way there.
You'll get closer with the LP rather than the Suhr.
Turn on the Pitch block for a quasi chorusing ala Meth, but it's probably closer to Stern's chorusing than Metheny's.
