Moderators to users, dialog between moderators and users, The wait list thread, the last two weeks. One particular moderator I've seen do it twice. Leaving his comments but removing the responses to his comments when they disagreed with his.

Perhaps you should go back and read my posts again before making that accusation that I'm trolling. You won't find any history of me stirring up trouble in my posts.

I most certainly have. You can still find the original post where a moderator wrongly demands an apology from a user and the remaining dialog on the matter deleted.
 
The same moderator later deleted a post of mine where I pointed out that he misunderstood a point being made.

Without getting into an argument or insinuating anything against you at all, (i am sure you are a nice guy) i am sure what you think has happened, there will be a good reason behind.

Your new on the forum so it takes time to get used to personalities..sometimes the mods are right, and sometimes not so right, (a problem with being human)
but i can tell you as long as i have been on the forum i have never seen anyone delete a post because it "disagreed with their statement"..not once.

If i was you i would try to discern between the guys on here genuinely trying to make it a success and those who like to do other things.. :)

Been a reader of the board since 2009. I think the problem is that you read "moderation" as all moderators. I think most of the moderators on this board do a fantastic job. One is particularly bad in that they seem to be a source of conflict and then selectively moderate to present a different view of themselves. Another is an instigator, somewhat by their own admission, but acknowledges the differences in opinions and leaves them.

It's a tough job no doubt. But please don't be quick to deny something happened when it can still be visible.

That said I suspect once that moderator reads this it will change as will the tone of this conversation.

If you look across many guitar related forums there is a constant criticism of the moderation on this forum. What motivation would so many different folks have in bringing that up if it weren't true? Many of them, like me, own Fractal products.

The fact that you've been bagging on the quality of this board's moderation team is pretty strong evidence to the contrary--at least relative to what I consider heavy handed.

I hear ya, I've been bagging on one in particular. Maybe he isn't logged in yet? The dialog in this thread kind of prevents them from moderating it, otherwise it would be proof of the fact that it happens (at least to the people that read the thread).

Just what it says. You obviously have issues with one or two moderators. You stated that "so many different" folks have brought it up as well and I suggest to you that your "so many" are in fact just a few. I believe the majority of people have no issues with the mods and are appreciative of their efforts. In my humble opinion, I would think if you had issues with a certain person or two you would take it up directly with them in one of the many private options available rather than to make it public.

I see the huge irony of your post. Hopefully you do as well otherwise we know who the troll is. I will add that perhaps I am following their lead as they make things public as well.
