AC30 Brilliant....bravo Cliff

I have to give it to you, @FractalAudio , this may be my new fav clean/edge of breakup/chime amp in the box. I've never vibed with AC30's (although it's variants are my fav amps..such as the AC20, DC30 etc) but man, this was so easy to dial in and it's perfect. Takes drive blocks incredibly well, well done sir. I may not even need the DC30 Jumped anymore.

Cued the AC30 Brilliant up today, and wow… that’s exactly how I always hoped an AC should sound…. My apologies if this has been stated elsewhere, but which AC30 is this modeled off of? It sounds fantastic!

Yeah, it's great! For cabs, the Class-A 30W and/or Friedman GB are great. The AC20 cab is great too (if you like Blues).

I normally don't dig AC30s much. Cliff could have called this amp "Boiled Potato" and it would still be one of my favorite amps in this amazing box.

The AC20 is a Morgan. All the Vox models start with "Class-A" in their names.

Maybe that's why I'm struggling to warm up to this appearently more real sounding one - started out "spitty" to my ear but I'm still getting aquainted.
