About Fractal Audio as a company in general

Well I just see they locked the poll 🤦.

Didn’t know what is disturbing here specially in music business .

Where small production , limited edition, is synonym to quality too , don’t need to be ashamed if you don’t sold a million a day don’t know …. Well….

Fractal is pretty small. They don't act like a big faceless conglomerate. The owner comes and posts here regularly. Not to sound morbid, but take care of yourself Cliff. Don't take up base jumping or anything.

Ok ok but it gives you an idea .

If they end the year at -20000 …
I personally use these infos when I am looking for a job somewhere .
As they look for infos about us if we headbang on YouTube for free time googling our name . 😅
The difference is that any information a prospective employer finds on the Internet about you is very likely information that was posted by you. If you don’t want the information about your headbanging out there don’t post about it on social media.

Been a happy camper since 2013 with Fractal products, just put in my order for the Axe 3 MK2 Turbo!

Just curious as I work in financing - how big is Fractal Audio these days? How many people do you employ and in what ballpark is the revenue?

Ah . Here in my country in Europe, private company or not, you can, and should be able to know the finance in total transparence of whatever company . This is the law here .

I was pretty amazed to know that Gibson made 200 guitars a day for example .
Well, our laws are different. In the US you are not entitled to know anything about the finances of a private company. That is as it should be.

I'm always fascinated by these threads when they pop up by the people who think they need to know the intimate details of a particular company. How many employees, what their positions and responsibilities are, their balance sheets, units sold, cash flows, and so on.

No individual has any right to know these information. The government does, for the pruposes of taxes and fair labor practices and safety and this and that, but individuals do not, and as @fcs101 said, never should be able to access that information.

That's how you preserve a free, competitive market economy. The EU clearly isn't into that.

EU is sliding towards 100% socialism and apparently a lot of you Europeans are OK with it - to the point that you think everybody lives that way, or wants to, and that you should be able to just roll into an American company's support forum ask that information and get it.

It's not a matter of embarassment, it's a matter of a company's finances being between them, their key employees, and the various gonvernment agencies that need to know - such as the IRS. Knowledge of those key statistics can be used by competitors in multivariate ways to disrupt a small business. ESPECIALLY the music business, where margins are razor thin.

I thought these d&d asshats had been sued into oblivion long ago for broad misrepresentation. They call, they demand your company info (like they are entitled to it), then, when you tell the to “get lost” (but not using such precise words), they lowball everything to try and get you to correct it… either way, then comes the offers to buy.. which are usually hilarious..

There are a few of these business “databases” around, .. I found our company listed in another the other day ..same bad info.. best not to encourage them or take them seriously (at all).

And, no. The “Who”, the “How Many”, and definitely the “How much”, is about as far away from anybody’s business as you can get.

This is the second feeler for this kind of info recently. Kinda strange in itself. Simply put, it’s none of our business.
