9.01 Axe-Fx crashes when Axe-Edit is started

Hi everybody,
I noticed a fatal error with my Axe-Fx II.
I updated first firware 9.00 and found out that nearly every time I start Axe-Edit my Axe-Fx crashes and has to be restarted (First midi-connection can't be found, then strange noises from my Axe-Fx and then nothing works any more).
Unfortunately this still occurs (not that often but still often enough) after patching to 9.01.

Axe-Fx crashes EVERY time I try to send an IR to it via Axe-Edit.
Anybody noticed the same issue?
Please help me!

RME Fireface UC
Windows 7 - Service Pack 1
Axe-Edit 1.0.317
Axe-FX II Firmware 9.01
 
Axe-Edit is not compatible with 9.01. Please do not use Axe-Edit with 9.01. It will crash the unit.

so how can I import new presets and IRs?
Will there be a new Version of Axe-Edit for FW 9.01 ?

You can use any syex librarian to import/export presets and IRs:
Windows: MIDI-OX
Mac: Snoize
 
Okay, this is getting better and better. I upgraded to 9.00 using current (latest) version of the axe-edit. Tweaked some bass patches and:

1) noticed zero out tone match blocks. Sound changed very drastically in my guitar presets too.

2) screw up cab names

Can this be repaired?

How can I go back and downgrade to version 7 for example and have back up banks along with my old presets? Can this be done with Snoize (in case of Mac)?
