ha, no! i was just reading up about angus young's guitar sound on reverb.com. tony platt was saying he sometimes used the 16ohm out into an 8ohm cab. just thought i'd try doing the tweak on my angus patch... (turn transformer match up to 2.0)

Will increase mids...just as the inverse will decrease mids.

yup. it sounds more compressed, too. good because the actual level of gain is pretty low. i like it. especially in conjunction with the comp/expander in front.
