Today the VP4–a present from my son—joined my FAS gang

The VP4 is a cool little box. It's already replaced a mini-board with two Strymon pedals I used with my little grab 'n go amp. It's nice to be able to switch to different virtual mini-pedal boards and takes me back to when I first started playing electric guitar with a few pedals on the floor, without the wiring problems and the need to replace batteries.

Devin Townsend on EMGtv. I'd never hear of Fractal til that video came out. Got a used Ultra a bit later, and my 3TM2 year before last.

Going to 15 years as a Fractal user next June, had quite some difficulties coming close to my analog rig the first years, but from axe fx 2 on abandonned real tube amps. Just got me 2 fender Jr for kicks last year but not ready to go back to real amps for band use. Might eventually change them for a supro 2412 (after exploring the supro in the FM3 I currently own).
Fell on Fractal in 2010 after a long internet research for a unit capable to replace my digitech Artist 2101.

I had an AxeFx Ultra for a minute back then but I just couldn’t get into it. Many modelers later and the FM3 has become my favorite piece of gear. Its been a couple of years with it now but who’s counting?

I am probably right around 12 years. Axe-FX II mkii. Never looked back after the purchase. Started gigging my AX8 then FM3 and onto the FM9. Best purchase ever bar none.
