Thanks Cliff!
I was one of those that preferred the more slick polished sound (Cliff's description) of FW 9 for a couple of the high gain amps that I use. although I spent a lot of time tweaking to soften the edges of the new sound, which was a bit too bright, fizzy and biting for my taste, using the new 9V cabs on the new 10.06 FW really gets me back there much better.
I had started to warm up to the new tonal character of FW10, and a lot of the amps and tones I actually like much better. but now I can enjoy the best of both worlds. Fantastic!
Every time I think I can't imagine this rig being any better, it just raises the bar. Amazing.
