🔥Introducing ICONS - Amp Modeling + FX - Plugins & Standalone

I hate to be that guy, but at $299 for one amp family, unless there's a less expensive all you can eat bundle, that's a lotta dough for everything that's in the hardware.
I get where you’re coming from. At the same time, ICONS isn’t about selling “everything in the hardware” to everyone. Most players don’t want everything—they want the amps they actually use.

That’s why ICONS is currently organized around families. If you’re into a particular thing, it will be just right. Future releases will feature other amp families, and some will can across families entirely.

Now that we have a platform capable of running our algorithms, it opens the door to a world of ICONIC possibilities.

Do presets from the hardware port over by chance? Like export a preset from my FM9 to desktop, import to Icons (given the amp is the same one in icons).

I wanted to post first as a response to that recent comment on this forum which stated that Fractal Audio would never ever release a plugin, but I thought I'd leave it to you to find that topic and link back to here ;-)
ups.... guess that was my comment hahahahaha
but to my defense, I'm owning fractal since the Axe Fx I Standard days and ever since then we asked for a plugin and you guys denied it

I've owned every generation of the hardware and and I've only ever used 2, maybe 3 amp models. For people like me (which I suspect is a lot of people), this is a godsend.

It would be one thing if it was just a few amps and a couple select effects, but this is way, way more than that.

Like for me, if I can get the wholeass 5150 family for $300, that's definitely beyond worth the price to me.

Understood, but one of the things i really like about the hardware is that i can try anything any time i want to. AxeChange downloads, check. Preset posted here or on YouTube, check. Real amp i heard mentioned somewhere but have never even seen, check. Wild-*ss idea from nowhere, check.

Is an Everything Bundle in the plan?
Any idea what that'd cost?

And i do apologize for talking money here, when obviously it's a much bigger deal that this is happening at all.

I think there would be an upper limit to what would even make sense - given at a certain point you'd own a few families for the price of an entire FM3.

I'm interested to know how Fractal modelling translates to different sampling rates. I imagine Cliff has engineered a way for everything to translate transparently.
