Am I alone in keeping the Ultra????

Keeping the Ultra. I have had it for 2 years and it still makes me smile every time I turn it on and plug in. Although I can buy the II justifying the $700 difference is wait and see for me. $700 buys another decent microphone, IR's, etc... But, you never know one day I might hit that buy now.

AxeFx II (vs. Ultra) - has anybody actually heard it?

Although this isn't the correct sub forum for this discussion I will reply by saying the countdown stated "no one will be disappointed", clearly this is not the case. Reality is people will always be disappointed. Am I disappointed? Ultimately I will decide whether or not to buy the Axe II...

Can't get midi to connect. Motu fastlane macbook pro

I originally started out with a Fastlane and after a couple of months of frustration, sent it back, replaced it with a Midisport 2 x 2 anniversary and have had no issues since. Mac user.

I sent mine back a few weeks ago as I lost patience. I am hopeful they can get this thing to work as advertised, then I might come back to it. In the meantime, I will probably go with a Liquid Foot Jr. or RJM Mastermind but waiting on NAMM in January. Thought about the MFC but cannot justify...

I have not tried that route even though they say it should work. I decided to wait for the fix so I can get it to work (hopefully) the first time. Maybe I am getting too old to keep learning stuff? It is my understanding that Sara is the contact at the company to help with technical issues...

ordered mine today. It is supposed to ship out to me on Tuesday. I am hopeful the fix for the midi expander will be available by the time I receive it. Will post my findings after I get it up and running.
