    Yes. It's a very versatile product. And for million different people, it could have million different ways to make it sound great. But it doesn't mean that we could not create some basic presets to work on most of the regular setup. The current first 40 presets are good example. I would say...

    Use utility menu, backup all your presets. Then restore them back. Works for me.

    I saved all presets to hardware memory before upgrade then after upgrade, restore them back. As above mentioned, switching back and forward between amp types sometimes won't work and it seems to me not just the amp setting somehow got changed...YMMV

    A quick way to "reload" amp blocks in all presets

    Like many, after loading the factory presets, I found the presets sound a bit off. A simple reloading (switch to other amp then back) could resolve the issue. But it is a bit annoying to do so on all the factory presets. Accidentally, I think I found a way to quickly "reload" all amp blocks...

    Interesting, I try using the Block Initialize function, but it will set everything to 5... Does it mean my AE is not working correctly?

    You need to reset the amp. Best way to do it is select another amp then select it back. If you use "Initialize" in the right click menu, you will lose the specific setting for the amp, basically everything goes to 5.

    The first 40 presets actually are amp presets which I always come back to check. So I had to find space else where. I don't think we need to add more slots. Just remove some presets maybe? Yes, you will always get complains whatever you did. But that should not be the reason not to do things...

    Well, yes, but you had to clean up some space first. And they are probably all around in different banks locations. To gather them together will take some effort even using AE. So I think it will be nice if we could have even just 10 continuous blank presets to start from.

    The first time the upgrade got stuck in verifying step so I reboot the machine. Surprisingly the FW is showed as 3.0 after the reboot (so actually it got upgraded). I just try the FW update one more time in case anything actually missing from the last try. And it went through fine...

    The stock fan is loud if unit is used at relatively quiet home environment as an audio interface. The noise part because of the fan, part because of the rubber support under the fan. Use something which is both soft and vibration absorbing (e.g. packaging filler) to replace the stock rubber...

    My problem with using Axe2 as the A.I. is when using axe2 to play back audio on my computer(win7) I can't use output1 volume to turn the play back volume all the way down to 0. It works under fw 1.05 then after 2.00c upgrade it's gone. I had to constantly adjust the win7 system volume all the time.

    Same issue here. Also when turn on the unit and the out1 volume is on 0, I hear audio from only left channel and with pretty high volume. Turn the volume a bit up then it's back to normal.

    Nope. It's different. There is no contract between FAS and those on FAS waiting list. But for those on TM's list, there are legal agreements there.

    Cliff said now for Axe II it is 100% simulation of the tube amp, so I guess a floor model will very naturally be the next stop. Or somebody check the axe fx feature request list, what else is not included in the II?
