How do I set up the grid on the Axe-Fx III to use it in the effects loop of JP2C’s so that I can use a TC Mimiq pedal with effects before and after the preamp? I’m a bit baffled on this. Thanks! PS it’s a stereo rig.

Thanks man I got it working! As soon as I added the JP2C to the RJM MMGT 22 it worked! I didn't even have to do anything else! I really appreciate it! I didn't know you could add more than one device in the edit device page. Doh!

My only option is to have the RJM plugged into the Axe-Fx III since the JP2C only has midi in and midi out. Then running another midi cable from the through on the Axe-Fx III to the JP2C.

It’s connected to the Mastermind. I am using 2 EBMM Jr Pedals as expression pedals. The volume block is going full off and on even when the Mastermind isn’t connected. The other issue is it sounds like I have a pitch shifter on when the pedal is fully backed off.

Found a bug with this update. My volume block is going crazy like there is a LFO attached to it. It is going full off and on even when the expression pedal is off. Even with the expression pedal backed off it is making noise like it has a pitch shift on it.

"Petrucci Rig" Factory Preset Update JPIIC+ and MIMIQ

Awesome Mimiq copy. I found the pitch detune to be a little much for my ears (was making it sound like a chorus) so I turned it down a bit and it sounds killer now. Also if you want to tighten it up a bit you can lower the delay times. I matched one of my delay blocks using the 7 ms delay

I always believed the Petrucci IR was rubbish - it's not

When I tried it the first time that was my thoughts too. It was too dark. But it really comes alive at higher volumes. I had to turn my mids down to compensate too. I had them cranked before.

Title pretty much describes the issue here. I noticed when using the pitch block and virtual capo option there is a very noticeable bit of latency. This is even after simplifying my signal chain. It is usable but a bit annoying.

I live in Mesa and have 2 QSC K12's and they sound awesome if you would like to check them out! I was going to get the Atomic powered wedges but from what everyone was saying about how they weren't loud enough changed my mind. I am also glad that I don't have to worry about tubes anymore.

Double-Tracking-Wall of Sound-Thread ?????

Clark Kent, I don't know the technicalities of why the 2290 sounds better I just know that it does. I have tried to do the same thing in the Axe but to me it just doesn't sound as good.

Or just buy a T.C. Electronics 2290 and split the signal between the right and left 7ms. Works for John Petrucci and sounds great to me like a pillow was taken away from in front of the speakers. I now what your all going to say, that the enhancer does the same thing but I disagree. I use the...

Best RW IR for Mesa Boogies?

I am in agreement with you on the Red Wires impulses. I think they sound great but lack the low end I like.

Can't Load IR's into Axe-Fx Ultra

Axe-Edit is in Beta still and I heard it screw up your Axe-Fx so I am not chancing that. Seems to me that it was pointless to change the sysex ID. What was the purpose of that?

Can't Load IR's into Axe-Fx Ultra

I tried all night last night to load some new IR' s in the user spots and they would not load. I am on 10.03. I read somewhere that the new firmware may be the culprit. Any suggestions?
