AXEFX II 100% Sync to Another AEXFX II

I could not find a thread on this. I know the current AXE Edit is not compatible with 9.02. Does anyone know if the core (non editor) functions of the Axe Edit or will the new Axe Edit do this... I have 2 AxeFX II's and one is solely for backup. I would like to be able to save ALL the...

    Recreating our current patches

I apologize if this has been covered but I could not find it and the technical thread has 80 pages. When the time comes and we all have our Axe II. What is the procedure for porting our patches. I understand in the future there may be a import in the Axe Edit but for now do all the settings...

    Input Level Knob

Could not find this answer by searching or did not see this in any threads but I assume someone has brought this up. I see no input level knob on the Axe II. I use mine alot on the Axe I when I switch guitars or want to boost it a bit, changes the tone slightly for me.

Wow! Never seen so much Whining and Crying. Lets get a grip on this!

If I sound harsh I apologize but after reading all of the whining and crying, my Ultra is obsolete, how dare Cliff not let us know, whine, whine… First off nothing is obsolete, the Axe II is improved with some neat features, but people make it sound like its game over for the Standard and...

    Standard has some balls!

I have an Ultra and Standard. Standard is used for backup. All my patches work fine in the standard with 7%-15% more cpu. One patch I have runs 68% in the Ultra and 55% in the standard. No idea why. Who said the standard does not rock!

    Pitch Shift Latency. Recommendations?

We decided to throw a cover in our band. Its a Van Halen tune 1/2 step down. I do not want to go the 2nd tuned guitar route for one song. Been using the pitch block and it sound ok, but I get some latency in it. Anyone have any settings to help this issue? The patch itself only uses 60%...

Standard can keep up with the Ultra. Impressed!

Since I have been running my Ultra for the past 2 years it has been flawless. But with a tour coming up this year decided to buy a backup. Been pondering standard but most threads say the ultra patches may be too much, etc. Decided to save $500. $500 is $500 and a backup that may never get...

    Bought a 2nd AxeFX

Well decided to bite the bullet and order a 2nd AxeFX for backup. Since I am now FRFR as of this year the Axe is everything in my signal chain. Even though the Axe has been 100% bullet proof, knock on wood, I feel better with a backup. I have the Ultra and put my patches on a diet to make...

    QSC KW122 Review

So after having this for 2 weeks and just switching from multi tube amp and multi Marshall cabs (different speaker types) I can say going to FRFR is going to be nice. The Birch cab keeps it warm still and if I do not look at the speaker I sometimes do not know it’s not my Marshall cabs. There...

    Ultra Patch Import to Standard

I have an Ultra, had it for a few years. Just recently switched to FRFR. By using this only I want to have a backup. Do not feel like lugging around one of my amps, plus all my tone is now in the Axe. Was considering a Standard since it is mainly for backup. What happens when you import and...

Firmware Update - Sysex ID Issue - Am I losing my mind?

Just updated the Ultra frrom 10.1 to 10.5. Having issues syncing to my liquid foot pro. Went to the midi section of the Axe and could have swore I used to be able to change the sysex id. I could have swore I set this to 125. Did this firmware change or screw something up as now I cannot...

    Got my QSC KW122 Today

I have nothing to compare it to since this is my first direct cab coming from Axe->Tube Power-> Guitar Cab, so I have nothing to base anything off. First impressions. Great size and I love the handles on the sides and top. Someone was thinking in the eng dept. Lays nice like a wedge and is...

    Ordered a QSC KW12

Based on all the reviews here on the K12, all positive I ordered the new version. Made in Costa Mesa, CA and supposed to have an upgraded driver aside from the Birch Cabinet with side handles. Seems the electronics were overbuilt on the K12, which is good, so they did not upgrade these...

Going FRFR. Thanks again to everyone for the tips!

Thanks to everyone on this forum and the great posts and threads, I have decided to bite the bullet and go FRFR. Must have spent 100k on rack gear, plexi amps, etc.. over the years. Last month I built a ISO cab with 2 Celestion KT100 and they sound great. Got a few weeks usage out of that :(...

In a perfect world would you go direct?

I had posted a poll earlier and got some great responses but I am thinking maybe my question was too deep. Basically all I want to know is: If you always used in-ears would you go direct to the front house sound or do you feel an amp and cab being mic’d is key to your sound?

Poll - Direct / Atomic Setup / Power Amp

I’m sure this topic has been around for a long time but not sure if any actual numbers have been established. I have been using the Axe since it first came out and love it. But coming from a huge rack, amp farm background I have struggled by still using a hybrid solution. Right now I use...

Anyone get a Liquid Foot This Year?

Saw some posts on the liquid foot shop being closed due to some storms, etc. Has anyone purchased and received one this year? Wondering if its even worth trying to order one. I placed a order on friday have not heard back yet.

    Axe Durability

What are your thoughts on the Axe Durability. Some concerns I have are: Is the PC board mounted on rubber spacers or hard to the chassis like in a computer. Would the vibration from traveling affect any components, like a bad solder joint? What about heat? The Axe has a fan but there is no...

    Pet Peeve

Not sure who experiences this but it has been one of my pet peeves with the Axe since day one. The level controls. For example I place and amp in the layout, any amp, for this I’ll use the “Usa Clean”. I know the DRIVE/GAIN and MASTER work together and they both create distortion depending...

    My Hooves are too big

Is it just me or do you have to be a Minotaur with hooves to accurately hit the buttons on most midi controllers. My foot is not over sized, I wear size 12-13 and still have issues balancing on one foot trying to hit the right button perfectly. I generally end up setting most used on the bottom...
