Tip: Back up with Fractal-Bot

I’m a Mac Air user , currently running Mojave. Apples wants me to upgrade to the new Catalina but my AX8 freaked a bit so I immediately cancelled Catalina download. As a non techy, do you think it matters with my AX8 if I run Sierra, Mojave or Catalina? Thanks.

will give it a try. Level has been set at 6 but will give a go and see if protection lite appears. I run my AX8 hard but not to clipping point. On amp, low cut on and not sure if i should set Ground to Lift or Earth. not sure if that makes a difference. set on Lift.

I prefer my Mono Fly Rig backpack. My 8 fits perfectly and plenty of room for cables, whatever. Throw it over your shoulder like any backpack and you’re rollin. AX8 fits snug and secure. Good luck.

Bug: abrupt volume drop when changing presets (intermittent)

Ditto to alot of this. I hit the preset and sometimes there is zero sound, other times the volume drops. Like others, I'll switch to another preset that works fine, come back to the one that malfunctioned and she's cranked again. No correlation between USB or not. Happens randomly...

Ditton Joe on the Mono Flyby backpack. Very pricey at $220 but really sturdy, a ton of space and a ton of padding. Will also use for vacation, travel etc besides gigs but man that thing is nice. The pedal fits really snug and plenty of room for all your other needs. Highly recommend.

The 10 is all I need. Pretty heavy but not too bad. I'm pretty sure I'll keep it but I continue to find that on most of my tones unless they are deep Metal type sounds that I want, I'm having to really crank up the treble/presence/bright switch/fender amp or whatever to brighten the amp up...

I've used tube amps for 25 years so just can't adjust to the wedge. I know there are a few others cab looking FR's but my Friedman seems to be working better. Getting more used to it and dialing in tones to accommodate which is fine. I think I'll stick with it. Thanks for your input.
