NGD: PRS Baritone! Amp/cab suggestions for Lettieri tones?

So glad to hear that, it is a super guitar - it was a sign! So much fun and inspirational indeed! Last week I took it with me to rehearsal with the band and they were equally excited. Used one of my earliest jams to write up a song on the spot haha... Have to find new ways to interact with the...

NGD: PRS Baritone! Amp/cab suggestions for Lettieri tones?

Well gents, THIS IS AN INPIRATION MACHINE (for me ;-) I wrote and recorded 4 musical ideas in one afternoon with the baritone (with the AxeFX3 off course as main tone machine), too much fun! 2 examples: and a very beautiful ballad type sound (the chords & bass you hear is all baritone, solo...

NGD: PRS Baritone! Amp/cab suggestions for Lettieri tones?

Any tips/specifics on amps/cabs/effects (envelope filter funky stuff?) from the Baritone peoples out there? Looking for funky/Lettieri tones for now... Interested what y'all doing with your baritone (will try growly heavier stuff later ;-) A baritone was on my long-long-longlist for some time...

    Wish Momentary Scene Toggle

Sounds complicated (for me) but I will look into it… is there a preset where this is applied? Second press to previous scene is a plan B for sure but still requires an extra tap dance and some distraction whilst playing (again, for me). Thx for suggestions.

    Wish Momentary Scene Toggle

Is there any chance to get this on the ‘new feature’ list or has this been implemented already and did I miss it? I just heard some Oz Noy tunes and he seems to change a lot of sounds from one moment to another (for example Zig Zag). I would also like to do that: short melody-> latch another...

Yek's presets for cover songs [updated: Oct 11 2023]

    Dyna Cabs...why don't I get it?

Yup, same here. Exponential rabbit hole feeling... Just see it as another option and let it be for now, and let the über-tweakers out there have fun with it... although it does somehow gives me that FOMO feeling ;-) Hoping for an update of the Presets with DynaCabs and maybe that gives me...

Just got an Eventide H9000, how best to combine with AFX3?

Thx, appreciated! Presets any good for starters or major tweaking required? Also a lot of complains on the fan being noisy, is it noisier than the fractal? And any big showstoppers op the bug side?

Just got an Eventide H9000, how best to combine with AFX3?

@bxlgotham I am also secretly GAS-ing over the H9000 for production/DAW-effects and mastering purposes mainly, so any experiences that you can share (negative/postive/surpises good or bad etc) are highly appreciated! Best plug-ins for ‘in the box’ tones?

Well the holiday sales have just passed I guess :-( The Plini NDSP really sounds cool and way more versatile then I thought... (from the demo's, especially on our very own @2112 Leon Todd YT vid!)
  15. Baldadi

Haha I love a strong opinion based on experiences. Guitar Rig came with my NI Komplete bundle so had to give it a shot. I can work with it for on the fly composing when I use Maschine. Will def check Scuffham out. Is NeuralDSP also for edge of breakup tones? Their marketing feels really...

I'm all Fractal too ;-), but lately I've been jamming and composing more and more in my living room while my Axe resides in the studio. So what's a man to do? Best results I get for now are with Guitar Rig 5 (from Native Instruments), which nicely integrates with my Maschine MK3 and Komplete...

So, I've had a Headrush FRFR for a while now and I don't like it...

I use the out2 to sent to the 112, and you can put a seperate EQ before that path in axe edit if you want. So leave the patch as is for you headphone or monitors and tweak to taste for out2
  29. Baldadi

So, I've had a Headrush FRFR for a while now and I don't like it...

Sure there are, no argument there, just trying to help out. I use my 112 as a monitor for live purposes only, dial in to taste, try it out in a band context to learn what’s best eq wise. In my studio I use Dynaudio monitors, which sound great stereo on (almost) any volume level…. Just my 2 cents.
  30. Baldadi

So, I've had a Headrush FRFR for a while now and I don't like it...

There is a thread somewhere where there is some solid advice to use EQ to actually 'flatten the curve' for the Headrush and really get this piece to sound good/great. Groundbreaking for some as I understood it. It was probably on a Axe3 topic but also applicable for the IIXL I would think...

Hm, I use my volume and tone pots a lot actually, especially on my Les Paul (... middle position can be nasty...) and on my Duesenberg. Gain in a pedal is too hard for me: "where am I, on 20%, 60%, 80%?"... maybe just needs getting used to.
