Locking tuners and string slack

I think number 1 mainly, but even with all the slack gone before locking, you have to make enough of a turn to go through all the alternate tuning notes anyway while tuning it up and break in stretching adds a decent amount more of a turn percentage to get you close to 3/4 of a turn or more anyway.

You can pull them all the way in and lock them down.... I have zero problems and the tone doesn't change for me. I've strung them both ways.

The DGT's don't have "Strat Knob Syndrome" at all. I'm one that kills the Vol knob all the time on a Strat unless I concentrate. Never ever have the DGT volume knob get in my way. It's in a great spot for a close to bridge knob!

Gibson Les Paul - Verification Question

Mine are satin/matte finish on the whole guitar including the body. There is a non Floyd Rose hardtail version of the Dusty Waring CE24. Not as expensive as a regular core at all. The Mojotone DW Tomahawk pickups are killer (not just for hard rock)!!! Top carve is a slightly less deep violin...

I thought they used the same nitro or V22 nitro blend on everything. I would think SE's would be the 1st line to not get the nitro finishes. However, you have to shop around to find the ones with an actual satin versus gloss finish and I've mostly seen it on core and CE24 models. My Dusty...
