What’s the latency on the Axe III?

Tuner Won't Mute

I'm sure this is an easy one. I've always had the tuner set so there is no output when tuning. Recently this has stopped working and I no longer have silent tuning. I've gone into Axe Edit - Global Setup - Tuner and the "Mute" option is set to output. Where am I going wrong?

Flattening the headrush curve

I think this is a big win. Sounds a tonne better to my ears. I've had to tweak amps back to more "normal" settings which is easy done. I definitely recommend giving this a try. Thanks WKSmith!

How many care if the Theaters close permently?

I saw Midway at the cinema when it came out and it was amazing on the big screen. The combination of screen size and audio was phenomenal for a film like that. I don't want them to close. It's fun having a night out at the movies.

Adam A7X studio monitors...whoa

Bought my A7X's 2 years ago and have never looked back. I also have the Adam Sub7 which is overkill for guitar playing (I have it for listening to music, pc games, movies etc) so if you want thump on steroids - go the A7X's with the Sub7.

Anyone sell all their tube amps?

Yep, sold them all when I got my Axe Fx 2 back in early 2018 - except for one tiny little 2 watt hand wired head. I've had about 40 valve amps over my time and maybe 60 odd pedals. All gone. No regrets and no more pedal and amp GAS!

Would like some recommendations for powered studio monitors and headphones to use with the III

I've used Adam A7x + Sub7 for 2 years and absolutely love them. Picked up a Headrush FRFR108 recently and very, very impressed. If I was starting on the Axe FX journey I'd get going with 2 x Headrush FRFR108's and not look back. I use AKG K245 open back headphones and they sound great to me.

Backing Track Block?

Thanks Paranoid but you could you elaborate further? I am running a PC and yup, Axe Edit via USB. At the moment I just run YouTube backing tracks and mix the audio volumes with a Mackie Studio Monitor Controller. Is there a more intelligent way of doing this? I would love to be able to load...

Backing Track Block?

Thanks guys. Yep, I'm sure there are plenty of ways of running an external piece of gear in but was wondering if you could use something like the LOOPER block to load up a backing track? I only want it for jamming at home and prefer not to buy more gear.

I'd be staggered if you bought the 3 and didn't conclude it as being the best gear purchase you ever made. There is a learning curve of course and everyone's setup is different but once you get things in sync - TONE HEAVEN :)!!
