why need for Mic?

When you click Cab, there is a section where you can choose what IR to be used and right below it there is a pull-down menu where one can choose what mic to be used. My question is this : If the IR is already a mic'ed sound of cabinet, why do we need to mic it up again???

Isn't Ares 2.0 too trebly?

After I upgraded the firmware to Ares 2.0 it seems like the same preset I used to play before now gives me too much of high frequencies!! Doesn't anyone feel this way or am I the only one feels this way? I guess I can interpret this as Ares 2.0 is more pristine clean and has more 'definition'...

96KHz IR for Axe FX II XL +?

Is 96KHz IR compatible with Axe FX II XL+? Or is it only compatible with 44.1KHz? Thanks for the comment!~

Have never used a Magnum so I cannot compare mooer with magnum but I am really satisfied with mooer baby bomb!!!

I just bought Mooer Baby Bomb 30 today, It sounds amazing!!! for only $99 it's the best sounding power amp for Aze fx. And it is very portable too. Y'all should check it out!!!

Is Magnum 44 transparent? or does it color any tone at all? Yes I'd looked at the powerstage 170, but I rather not spend $399 on power amp.........at this point.
