    My advice on learning how to squeeze more out of the Axe is to start your own presets from scratch. Compare the sound (not settings) of your new preset to the factory preset(s) you like and see if you can make it bigger and better. You'll definitely get a lot of good stuff from Cooper's class...

    All I do is ask for 2 xlr cables and tell them I'm running stereo. If they can only give me one mono track then I make sure I switch the output setting back to one of the mono settings.

    It is my limited understanding that balanced cables/ connections were designed to defeat the signal generated from long cable runs and/or interference created by other devices the cable might have near it. If those situations don’t apply to you, I would say your good to go.

    Thanks, Moke! That’s actually what I’ve been doing. Just thought it’d be nice to do all on one screen. I would really prefer to have the mute/solo as buttons verse the drop down. Then if we could group them, we could actually perform what I mentioned and have one click access to mute and solo!!

    The best way I’ve found to do this is set up a USB block in your preset right above your input block. Connect it to the block that’s right after your input block. Now go to pro tools and send your DI track to Axe Fx output 7/8.
