Oops. Didn't answer the second question. Sometimes I add cuts but it's relatively rare for me to do so. I just got everything wired up that way a couple days ago so it's possible I'll make some cuts or other EQ adjustments as I switch around from one monitoring system to another.

I just play at home. I'm sending out 1 to my PXMs and through them to my interface/monitors. Out 2 (L, summed) goes to the Fender FR-12. Out 3 bypasses the cab block and goes to a pair of EVH 50w amps and thier associated cabs. I can pick and choose which monitoring system I want to use...

I wonder if it would be worth doing something to alleviate this as a potential issue. Maybe removing the knob functions from the performance pages? Or having a a setup-menu choice for that? "A-E knobs on Performance Pages: Enable/Disable"?

I'm sure it's tough or they'd probably have done it already. It would be super useful for me as well because I have my FM9 setup to go to different monitoring systems via the three outputs so when going through the factory presets as I am doing again, I have to move the cab block, add output 2...

The "A" knob is just above the left footswitch. Pressing the A knob engages the tuner so a less-than-accurate foot could easily hit that by mistake.

You might try those tone factor XR IRs. Specifically the 2x12 AC30 Greenback stuff. Dunno what it is but some of those really worked well for me in that regard.

The stock FR is 180° off I believe. @WKSmith mod fixes that. The EVs are in phase. As long as you have all your stuff in phase you're good.

Great stuff! I ditched the factory presets to load up Live Gold but I do miss them and will likely do some work in the future to bring my favorites from them together. What monitoring system were you using at gig volume?

Any updates on this thing? A friend is looking into FRFRs. I told him to just get the FR-12 but he's (understandably) also researching alternatives and mentioned the Spark Cab.

I still have a couple EVH 50w amps (stealth head and 6L6 combo) and a Peavey Vypyr 60. I almost never use them these days but have been getting a bit of an itch to plug into one of them again.

The EVs are great. They're the first FRFR type speakers I actually liked. I liked them well enough that I kept two for use in my WDW setup (alongside the FR-12).

I hated the Headrush 108. Definitely subjective, but I couldn't return that thing fast enough. In the other end of the FRFR spectrum for me is the Fender FR12. It's lighter than the PXM and I actually like it better for guitar. And it's cheaper. It's not smaller through. OP, have you looked...
