Really not that bad, an easier read than most. Sit with it and your AX8 and take in small doses! (i'm not a doctor and don't play one on TV!:laughing:) I also recommend checking out Leon Todds tutorials:

computer speakers upgrade for AX8 direct?

I am assuming you want to keep your budget as low as possible. Based on this, any low cost powered studio monitors will be an upgrade to computer speakers. As for punch, in my personal experience you will need to go to larger diameter speakers. I have a couple of M-Audio BX-5's and they are...

Awesome Glenn, this preset alone convinced me several weeks ago to purchase your preset pack! Your Acoustic preset also sounds just amazing with my Kiesel SH575 fitted with Shadow tech (synth access) piezo pickups! Still working my way through the rest!!

Has anyone 'scuffed' or 'marked' their AX8?

Mine still has the price tag still attached and is in mint condition. I keep it this way by not allowing it to be played, touched, pointed at, looked at, or talked about. ;);) Hey!!! I said don't even look at it!!! :p:p:smile::smile:

Personally I have no complaints with the current layout/configuration of the AX8. I'd take more processing power but not a deal killer. What would be really nice though is a 9V power out for external pedals to reduce the number of power cables from wall to pedals, but then again I'm practically...

BTW I have loaded my model of the AXE-FX II into the Sketchup warehouse. Since I don't own this equipment, I modeled it using information I could find online - so don't hang your hat on the dimensions being 100% accurate!
