If Tone Changes Between Low & High Volume...

Why doesn't the time and effort go into making 2 patches (low volume / high volume) instead of wasting it on here complaining that when changing the volume changes the tone?

Bass & Studio Monitors

For low volume practice with my guitar, I use the Axe-FX II & KRK Rok 6 monitors, everything sounds great. When the drum machine play bass lines or play along with a mp3 through the monitors that also sounds great... Problems begin when I try to do the same with my bass (4 string - standard...

Going GAS-less in 2013

I'm pretty happy with all the music gear that I have today to the point of making an effort not to make any gear related purchases in 2013. The only exceptions are maintenance items (picks, strings, replace broken parts as needed) and parts for an incoming guitar kit.

New Guitar / Pickups or New Patch?

I am doing this by hand - no Axe-Edit. From the manual. Axe-FX: Mapping Mode = Custom Map From = 1 Map To = 96 (random preset) Midi Controller: Pedal 1 assigned to Program Change = 1 Both are updated, stored, etc... When I press on Pedal 1, I get preset 1 "59...

Assign I/O Jack in Patch - Possible?

I just started to read the manual but I was wondering if this is possible: Would I be able to assign which input & output jacks are used based on the patch being used? For example: Patch 1 for guitar direct in / power amp out Patch 2 for Axe FX 2 in amp head effects loop
