Free Diezel Preset Pack

Looking for some Diesel presets for heavy detuned guitar tracks for a video game score I'm working on. Man these are just fantastic! Perfect for what I was looking for and blew away what I was coming up with on my own. Many thanks!

Got a pretty quick response back from Andy at TAF and was able to hook up the Legends pack via Paypal (59.99 GBP) and an emailed link. Really liking the blends in Cab Lab I've been mixing with these IR's. Haven't really come up with a better blend yet for the Hiwatt cab that got me originally...

Thanks for the info. Gonna contact them see if I can grab the legends pack. Obviously that IR sounds killer with a Hiwatt preset I tweaked, but it also sounds great with so many other amp models. A Princeton Reverb preset with that cab is one of my most used clean sounds.

Yeah, I didn't think they were doing Speaker IR's anymore for some reason and hoping they might be available in one of the Cab Packs. Is it a Hiwatt cab? It's a great sounding IR and I'd like to try some different blends.

Pete Cornish Soft Sustain SS-2

Groovenut is heading in the right direction as his suggestion yielded the closest I could get to my SS-3. Still the SS-3 seems to have a clarity that I couldn't dial in on the AxeII/Plus Dist Drive. With a Strat I get a sting out of the SS-3 that I couldn't duplicate with the EQ. I'd love if...

Pete Cornish Soft Sustain SS-2

I don't use the OD's in my Axe II much and haven't found a real replacement in there for my Cornish pedals. I'll mess around tomorrow a bit and see what comes closest to my SS-3. OD range is somewhere in the Tube Screamer area of OD/Distortion, but matching the EQ will be the trick.

The Dumbles, holy crap, the DUMBLES!

As someone that had and used for several years an actual ODS made for them by Howard way back when, I think the ODS 100 Lead from I think FW13 on is pretty killer. I've never cared for the Dumble or clone models previously on the Axe II or actual amp clones themselves for that matter, they all...

Anyone using fuzzes or drive pedals with Axe II?

They work and sound pretty much the same with the Axe as they do with a nice clean Fender amp. I think some of the Drive block models sound great, I just like Pete's pedals better than the pedals that have been modeled. If they could model Pete's pedals as well as a Nobels ODR-1 and PE...

I use a lot of fuzz and OD/Distortion pedals with the Axe 2, mostly 5 different Pete Cornish pedals. Works just like using amps which for my pedalboard means clean amp. Most of the Axe 2's Fender amps are great particularly a tweaked Prince Tone setting I have, Bandmaster and the Hiwatt...

Firmware Version 10.05 Now Available

Updated Firmware from 10.02 to 10.05 and a lot of presets seem to clip the output. Have reloaded the 10 presets but didn't seem to fix the issue. Any ideas? Thanks

Axe-Fx II Firmware Version 7.00 Available

Have upgraded firmware and presets...... Not sure if the presets have loaded properly. While the new amp models, Cabs, etc. are loaded with the V7 Firmware, I don't see any new presets utilizing the new amp models. Am I missing something?

Ahh, just got it to work with "save as" instead of "save to desktop" which worked with all the other DL's. Thanks! Anxious to check it out!

Anybody (Mac User) having trouble with downloading the A Presets. Different action than the B and C banks. Keeps downloading a text file rather than the sysex file. B and C DL fine.
