reverb guitar in a distant room sound...?

Hi DrNick! I used a reverb plugin - Lexicon "Room" - on 100% wet :-) but any roomy reverb on the Axe should do, fully wet, and i also cut a bunch of highs and lows with an EQ afterwards. cheers!

thanks guys! the drums are all superior drummer 2.0, the bass is spectrasonics trilian, the orchestras and synths i use are either kontakt 4 library or logic/garageband :) that intro swell is just a midi piano with reverb played backwards haha

mostly Toontrack's Superior Drummer 2.0, but i layer it with a kick and snare from Addictive Drums, as well as another kick sample i got from a friend (so the kick is 3 samples blended together and the snare is 2) :) too kind! i haven't been an axefx user or a poster here for very long at all...

you guys are too kind :) its awesome to get such positive feedback! i started with the Heavenly Echo pre-set and just tweaked a couple of things, probably reverb time/compressor settings but nothing drastic. i'm still too new to the unit to dial in my own complex delays so i just go off...

unfortunately i've gotten into the habit of making patches, recording short clips and then not saving them haha. i remember i started out with the "Boutique 1" preset and just tweaked the amp settings a bit, probably boosting mids and presence, and adding more delay. i gotta remember to save...

wow can't thank you guys enough, you're too kind! other than the axefx all i have is a 6 string ibanez S-series and an iMac haha. i've been recording/mixing in my bedroom for a couple of years now so i guess thats helped a bit. i think just spending time tweaking things until it sounds closer...
