Recommendations for FM9 live speaker/amp.

Anybody know the difference between my two EV1's?

I just got an EV1 and curiously it has a different gear assembly setup than my other one.. My silver EV1 uses a spring with the gear, while the black EV1 has a metal plate. Just wondering if anybody else has one like this? Maybe there's some info on a past revision or something?

Intronaut's tones on this album are the tits. They use the Mesa Royal Atlantic (RA100), but we all know that that amp isn't modeled in the Axe (yet!). I currently use the BE and the Double Verb as my go to dirty/clean respectively. Anyone care to suggest some amps that might do the trick better?
