Today, I am very proud to announce the release of a new collaborative project - Skunk Works - and our very first single release, Cruciformicary!

"Skunk Works came together in a way that echoes its namesake: a collaboration of two ambitious-but-loony musical minds, each with a passel of disparate ideas waiting to be roped together by a certain je ne sais quois. Earl and Dev began passing melodic musings back and forth remotely, with each individual idea from one generating unbridled enthusiasm in the other and breathing new life into compositions once believed to be dormant. Crucial to the process is the suspension of ego and seriousness; this is a project purely conceived to luxuriate in the joy of music, stretch our creative legs, and where no styles or ideas are off the table."

Today is also Bandcamp Friday, meaning that 100% of all proceeds generated today, March 4th, 2022 will go directly to us, the artists.

1 - Thank you! I've been looking around today, and I've found a few candidates. Need to run them past my bandmate, but we appreciate the recommendation.

2 - Oh yeah. We love some greeeaaaasy riffs!! CKY is full of them.

3 - Bahaha! Funnily enough, I discovered I can actually throat sing, and intend on incorporating it into a future song!

As promised, we have pledged the $71 total to the GlobalGiving Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, which provides shelter, food, and clean water for refugees, health and psychosocial support, and access to education and economic assistance, among other initiatives.

Furthermore, we felt compelled to match your contributions, for a total of $142 to the Relief Fund. It's a modest amount, but every bit helps toward this worthy cause.
