i can't get my Macbook Pro to recognize my Axe Ultra

Just a heads up, it might stop working again. At least in my experience, it will connect once I reinstall the drivers... but once I've powered on/off the ultra a few times, it stops connecting and I have to reinstall the drivers again for it to connect.

Problem connecting to Axe-Edit

Reinstalled the Uno drivers and it's working just fine, thanks for the suggestions though. I also just started having problems with peripherals running on Lion as well... except I didn't choose to update - my old macbook was stolen so I bought a new one that came with Lion.

I don't know if it's a problem with my computer, axe edit or my ultra, but it's a pretty big hassle. I use mac os x lion. I'm using an m-audio midisport uno to connect. It sometimes connects with no problem, but other times after powering the ultra off/on, it refuses to connect. I have the...

Mackie HD1221=WIN

Don't mean to necrobump this, but how is the 1221 holding up? I know there were problems with the 1531's "blowing up," but after a decent search I still don't have a definite answer to whether the 1221 is more reliable.

Ipad Success with Axe II

If you have to plug the Axe into the MBP before the iPad each time, what is the benefit (besides being f'n awesome) of being able to use it as an audio interface on an iPad? The whole portability factor is ruined by the need for the MBP to be there as well.
