    Why is my axe-2 almost always crackly/buzzy?

    Let me tell you that my axe fx did the exact same thing. I accidently ran 90 tube watts into the output of the axe fx and fried something internally. It sounded exactly like this. Sent it to fractal, and they had the unit back within about a week. Every thing was fine after that.

    we were able to get the noise down to an acceptable level by moving the axe fx its self(not just the guitar player) quite a ways away from the daw and monitor. Thx for the help guys as i didn't realize that interference would even be an issue. I once again thank you guys for the quick replies.

    I got a standard v11 that all the presets are there but they all sound exactly the same and are only a direct guitar signal. This happened when i used axe edit and hit Recall-Refresh from hardware. What do i do to get the processing back? What does the Recall-Refresh from hardware do anyway?

    newbie needs help with firmware update, axe-edit

    you have to have two(2) midi cables, the in(axe) to the out(interface) and the out(axe) to the in(interface). Choose your interface in the settings like holo said. Sync up and then update.
