Something sounds off. Have you tried stock presets with it? It should be more than loud enough with +4 and volume at noon. Are you using an XLR out to the FR-12?

I had both briefly and had to return the 12 because I wanted two of them but only had room for two FR-10s. They both are great but if I were to only have one, and space wasn’t an issue, I would opt for the 12.

I had a FR-12 and two FR-10s at the same time. I only briefly got to test the two before I returned the FR-12. The FR-12 had a little more bass to it, but not a huge amount - maybe a little "fuller" sounding perhaps? I kept the two FR-10s due to lack of space and returned the 12. I would have...

Same. I had the PowerStage 200 and compared them side by side and preferred the Pedal Baby for my setup. Would also like to try a Quilter and eventually a Fryette LX II.

Thanks! FR-10 stereo via output 1 XLR and Orange Pedal Baby through Mesa cab via output 3. I have some WDW (MDM) patches, some just using the FR-10s and some just Orange and Mesa. 👍🏻

Best power amps for Axe fx 3

I have had it for a few weeks. I think it is fairly neutral. It definitely gets loud and has some power to it. I have only ever tried the PS 200 and this so far, and I am liking the PB better for my needs. I mainly play heavier stuff.

Absolutely. I have Yamaha HS-80Ms and could never quite get them to sound like I wanted them to. I love my FR10s. I even think stock presets sound great on them…gasp 😃

I originally bought the FR-12 and it was great by itself. I would have gotten 2 but I simply don’t have the room for it. I did have room for two FR-10s. I don’t think I am missing out on anything by having the 10s. Little less bass, but for my needs, they work great. 🙂

I am going to try out the dual FR-10s to hopefully replace my studio monitors for a w/d/w setup. Playing through the 12 this morning again, it does sound great. The hiss, it’s there, but mine isn’t bad enough for me to send it back if I were just going with it alone.

I got my FR-12 in tonight. I love it so far in the very short time I tested it. Very minimal hiss, if any. I want two of them. They won’t fit in my small music room. I ordered 2 of the FR-10s. I’m an idiot. 😀
