Input 1 gate vs using a Decimator.

running a tube pre into input 1. This is a high gain slo preamp. I usually just use the gate on the Fractal which is fine. Out of curiousity i decided to disable that and put a Decimator in between the pre and the fractal and it sounds MUCH better. why?

inserting an external preamp into chain

Trying to insert an external rack pre into this simple chain. I have the out 3 cable (left only ) going into the input of my pre then output of the pre going into input 3. I'm not getting signal into the input of the preamp. If i plug the guitar directly into the pre i get signal in this setup...

use input 2 and 3 as instrument.

i have set 2 and 3 to use Left only and they have the same levels as 1 (instrument) but they are behaving differently. How can i get inputs 2 and 3 to behave identically to input 1? also if i plug into 2 or 3 i get hum and if i plug into 1 i dont get hum.

FM3 issue with new firmware gets stuck on booting.

50% of the time the unit wont boot on power up it just stays on this screen.

[solved] All presets default to Output 1 but i'm using Output 2

Don't see a Global "use Output 2" for all presets. Do i have to switch the output on each preset?

Pedal Setup help!

Just got a Dunlop Volume X DVP3. I have it connected to the back of the Axe II. Went through all the setup in IO and and calibrated etc. When i select it as a controller for a wah, it only sweeps to 50 then resets. I could only get the Axe to recognize the pedal by using the Pedal's Volume out...

Cant stand this anymore.

I've got my home studio finally set up. All my stuff is quiet. Even changed out the pwr supply on my Protools PC to an Antec Quietcool. Now when i fire up the Axe2, it sounds like a 707 is parked across the street and refueling! I need to fix this somehow. Does anyone have a solution? A quiet...

Loading Banks into Axe-Edit

Peavey Sanpera II anyone experience? About to buy it.

Looks to support tap tempo and powered by midi cable. Also has calibration, a metal housing, and lcd screen. It's less than $200 and has an expression pedal on the left side which i like. Anyone use this one?
