    S/PDIF sync problems

Hi! So I bought Bruno from Gearslutz' converter package, (link here) and the simple XLR to RCA adapters into my Axe-Fx AES I/O solved my problem!! (NA2MPMF + NA2FPMF) My Axe-Fx II now syncs perfectly to my interface. If you want to try the same solution, remember to switch from SPDIF to AES...

Yes, this. Does anyone know if it would work? Here are the parts he is talking about: Gearslutz.com From the wiki: Master and slave Cliff: "The Axe-Fx II can be a slave. Set the Input Source to AES. It will derive its internal clock from the input stream. The input stream must be 48K...

    S/PDIF sync problems

So to sum it up - all my 3 interfaces sync fine with each other in all different combinations of master/slave, but my Axe-Fx II is apparently picky with its S/PDIF IN clock input, and doesn't want to sync to my MR816x or E-MU 0404 for some reason. Echo AudioFire Pre8 works totally fine. :S...

    S/PDIF sync problems

With my Echo, it works completely fine using both IN and OUT at the same time, but with my other interfaces, only OUT from the Axe works - The Axe doesn't want to sync with them, hence the "NO INPUT CLOCK!" message. Syncing the Echo to the MR816x with a cable from MR816x' S/PDIF OUT to Echo...

Hi Spec. Yeah, at first I thought I had the same problem as you, but I just find it really strange that it works perfectly with my Echo AudioFire Pre8 interface (which I'm planning on selling..) and not at all with my other interfaces. Cool, thanks. Any idea of how to properly calibrate the signal level though? (Axe-Fx input A/D levels etc). Hi, I made some ambient stuff for a term assignment in my Music & Information Technology class, based on an Axe-Fx patch I created. The sounds that fade in at 0:20 is from the patch, which has loads of bit-crushed delay into a reverb with a very high feedback setting. I'm still on v4, and I...

Turn on both devices, go to the device settings in your DAW, choose ASIO4ALL, include both interfaces in the input & output ranges and there you go. You might want to check the "Always Resample 44.1kHz <-> 48kHz" option in your ASIO4ALL settings (found in the notification area).
