Do we really need channels and scene controllers?

After the full backup, another thing you might do, is record a quick DI track. Re-amp it through your most used/important presets on 19, and save to compare with your new shiny 24.05! Obviously the feel of the updated tones will take live playing, but this can help with an X vs. Y comparison...

Unless you have some driving need, I would just go directly from the AF3 to your computer, via USB, as I do. I use Logic Pro for recording as well. Also, make sure you set Logic Pro to use 48K sample rate, instead of the default 44.1K. Cheers Lee

Random faint signal

How are you sending signal to your AF3? Front Instr port, if not, which rear port receives your signal? Looking at the preset again, are you trying to use the Output3 to patch to Input3? For that, use Feedback Send and Feedback Return. Hope this helps.

Modifier 5 for the Wah block, looks to be ON, no matter which Scene I access in your preset. That would likely give you that hollow sound.

Another detail that is possible to change, that could contribute. Under Preferences, Options, the top radio button allows one to choose whether the software automatically checks for a new version at startup. If it accidentally (or otherwise) were to get de-selected, .... Cheers, Lee

Seymour Duncan TB-14 Custom 5

The Yamaha Pacifica I purchased in Sept 2022, while in Japan, has this pickup in the bridge. It has a lot of power, even more so than the SD JB in my Ibanez solid-body guitar (RGT-42). The Yamaha guitar has a Maple top over an Alder body. This pickup seems to be a perfect match for this guitar...
