midi thru to jmp1 not working

Easy tip for those who hate mud on high-gain sounds.

I know tis an old thread;-) but ive only just tried this tip and old or not it works:-) im pumping up the bass in the post amp graphic really high and cutting lots from the pre amp graphic.. dont know why this works but it does im also turning up the low cut in the amp very high but im getting...

Best tip ive read on this forum really good, everyone should try this out:-) for me with a tube poweramp and cabs it made the amps sound and feel like a real amp:-) no more flub and still loads of bottom end. Happy days;-)

Hi you could try a null filter in front of the amp and raise the level might help maybe, what you said about overtones is interesting too, i get this too, recently ive been using a drive with all the mids pulled out and high and low cut off and it seems to get rid of overtones. then add them...

Hi Jb70 Thanks man, i didnt really want to raise the global level (to preserve headroom?) so im going to try upping the output knob instead and see how that works, I havent noticed the axe colouring the tone really so i'll leave the eq alone for the mo( one less thing to worry about!!!)...

Hi all!! I run my axe fx into the ac30's top boost input, normally just using effects definetly no cabs! i really like my amps tone and i want to get the axe fx to be as transparent as possible, controlling levels is the main problem there are so many ways of adjusting volumes in this unit...

Hi s0c9 Thanks for the speedy reply! The reason I didnt use the xlr out on the axe is that the line input on the A&h mixer is just a 1/4 inch connection, maybe i could try a mic lead (xlr) into the mic input on the desk? Didnt think i should tho i dont think its a line input...? I think the PA...
