HELP PLEASE! 2x12 vertical cab vs 2x12 horizontal..

There has been some very good information in this thread. I thought I would offer my 2 cents. (My comments to all cabs not just the Port City Wave cabs.) The vertical cabs tend to cut a little more due to the elevated speaker being close to your ear. It also leaves a smaller footprint on stage...

ISP stealth thoughts.

I have a ISP Stealth and love it. I should note that I do not use it with the Fractal. My application is a bit different as I am experimenting with a W/D/W set up. It is quite, loud and clean. Plus you can't beat the price. I hope this helps. Daniel Port City Amps

I am using the Axe just like a pedal board direct into the front of the amp. I only use the amp sims for the high gain tones. Everything else is the BB pedal sim or the Sahana Boost pedal on the board. I wish I had a decent video camera that had good sound. Let me work on that.... Daniel

The Scumback speakers sound great in the Wave cabs. To my ears the Jensen Jet's are in a totally different ballbark. The Jet is a much more dynamic speaker..much quicker. It almost reacts like a 10 in speaker. Weird...in a good way though. Daniel Port City Amps

FYI- Website updated with the Pearl. Also I should mention that I have been successful using amp sims and pedal sims in front of the Pearl. Also if you deemed it necessary you could always run the amp sims into the return of the FX loop. Just a thought. Daniel Port City Amps
