AXE FX switching between a tube amp and SS power amp?

Hi there. I love my Axe Fx but would like to try a new setup. Can this work?

Guitar-AxeFx-out1-tube amp-cab
out2-SS power amp-cab

I do not want to use them both at the same time. I just want to switch between the two. I really appreciate your feedback!

You should be able to by using two different patches.

You can use one patch without the effects loop to run your signal only to Output1.

Regarding just running a signal to Output2 and not Output1, I haven't tried this, but there are probably at least a few ways of achieving this. One may be to set up a patch to just use the effects loop to run the signal to Output2 and not connect any shunts to the main output.

You may also be able to do it with only one patch while using a control pedal to somehow swap between the output to the effects loop and the output to the main output. For example, use a control pedal to both engage the effects loop and also disengage the main mix by turning off the level of a block running after the effects loop to the main mix or by controlling the output of the mixer somehow.
