Looper Madness

I've sent this off to a few people who are really digging it. I love it since it's the freshest, most original thing I've heard in some time....have been craving something off-the-beaten-path that catches my ear like this.

Don't know what's going on but hilarious lol

That's the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) staking claim! :)

My French is a little rusty, but I believe they are saying...

...if nothing else... we hope to be a Trump repellant. 🤣

I suspect they would be... FIRED!!!

I got into these guys last summer - really good stuff... I'm stoked to see this getting a lot of traction. If you're into interesting loops, the early releases by Battles have a similar vibe.

Angine de poitrine's earlier band is called La Poesse

I'm probably being thick, but is the "bass" some downtuned strings on his guitar?

This doesn't seem as looper oriented as the "other band", and i can't image it's tracks or another offstage player, but what the actual f is happening here?¿?¿?

Correct, you are not. I think the highest note in the whole piece is 13th fret of the high A string (Bb) like at 0:41.
Wait, i was talking about the first clip in this thread. Sorry for not being more specific.

Were you?

Can't listen right now, so i might be misremembering, but I'm at least some of these i really thought there was both bass and guitar.

I was referring to the video in the post you quoted where you asked the question about bass vs. downtuned guitar: https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/looper-madness.218878/post-2758202

First clip in the thread is Cliff's post with the doubleneck guitar + bass and heavy looper use...

Just been looking at their Facebook page whilst having a coffee break and see they have announced, and immediately sold out, their first US show in New York in September. In the round! That would be a blast. Their admin says more shows, including the UK, are being announced next week. Looks like being the hottest tickets in town. I shall be keeping my beady eyes out just like the drummer's in Brockstar's pic, except I only have two

They absolutely need to book a tour ASAP while they're going viral. I love what they're doing, would really like to see them live, and wish them much success but their sound is pretty niche and I wonder if it will really have staying power.
