Possible bug? I ran the utility "update presets to current firmware version" but most presets (factory and user) still have the inverted preset number like they haven't been saved.
You have to batch save your presets under new firmware. Pick an insignificant parameter (for example, output level in input block), change it by the tiniest amount then right click on the mouse while holdiing ctrl and shift, then selct multi-presets, and in the preset window, press Ctrl+A to select all, then save.

I dont know this utility - is it at the hardware unit?
I did it with "shift" + right Mouse Click on "Scene 8 Level" (which i don't use) - "Set in Multiple Presets", selected all Channels and selected all Presets and it worked fine! But it needs some time to do...

No... That's why there's an update option, so you don't have to do that.

I mean, you can, but you don't have to do that.

That option is fairly new then? I must have missed when that was added to Edit - the old way is admittedly a little kludgey...

It's not a new feature. It's been around for a long time. It is hardware only. I wish it would be added to edit.

Hi all,

I was waiting long time for that metronom feature switching on/off by remote.
Today first time trying it:
In the config menu "setup ->Midi/remote->others->metronom can be set to "Pedal 1 SW Ring" for example.
Doing so I am not able to switch on/off the metronom - is it meant like this or am I missing something here?

Thanks for your help!
Hi, from the Version 12 beta 1 Thread, i tried today with no success.
First attempt with Pedal switch second one with CS6 setup as midi cc #111.... (used as preset override)
Is anyone able to enlighten me?
TIA Alex
(Und Jens... viele Grüße aus Köln :-)

Hello,

Any FM3 MK1 users tried this new beta ?

I'm curious to know if it takes more CPU and how many % more...

I got a few presets at 75% and hope I will still let them work without issue.

Thank you.

Seems far fetched cause the fm3 already had a hardware revision with mkII.
Well as far as I recall, the FM3 is different from other models because it doesn’t have a separate chip to handle MIDI (or USB or some such, don’t remember exactly). And they didn’t change that with the revision. So all of that is handled by the DSP, I guess (although this is speculation on my part).
