And furthermore, the reason I’m asking specifically about how you plan to accurate mimic the mark IV’s eq in real life compared to the axe fx’s model, is because anyone that has spent anytime with a real mark IV, knows how touchy the graphic eq is, and how much it “moves” just by putting pressure on the graphics sliders themselves without actually “moving” the slider. It’s incredibly touchy, but also extremely difficult to tell how much it actually moved when doing very small minute changes; which is exactly what you would need to be able to do for the type of testing you are asking for. Of all amps, you couldn’t pick a worse one to try and see “how close it is to the real thing”.
My Mark IV is not touchy at all. It's very easy to dial in. Maybe you have a defective EQ or your sliders are extremely dirty

Can someone just explain exactly what the firmware changed using only Lord of the Rings analogies

In Axe-Fx's vast dominion, where the digital ethers swirl,
A firmware scroll descends, its banners unfurl.
Cygnus X-3, an arcane craft, emerges from the mist,
Forging sound anew, by elven smiths' twist.

Preamps, like swords reforged, with clarity they sing,
Power amps, like Gondor's walls, their strength they bring.
Transformers' losses, now as clear as Galadriel's mirror,
Voltage lore, deep as dwarven mines, brings the truth nearer.

But beware, ye artisans of melody and chord,
This magic's potent change is double-edged, a sword.
If your presets morph, like leaves in Lothlórien's breeze,
Complaints will draw jests, as if from Mirkwood's trees.

Updates, like gifts from Rivendell, are scattered wide,
Grid Bias and Sag, their secrets no longer hide.
Cathode Follower, like arrows from Legolas' bow,
Now strikes with precision, its aim true to show.

Deluxe Verb's spell, once astray in Fangorn's maze,
Now corrected, its magic ablaze.
Suhr Badger's lore, its gain now steadfast,
Like Aragorn's resolve, is meant to last.

"Sunrise Splendor," a new enchantment joins the fray,
Its kin, now "Hi-Cut," in the light of day.
A distinction as clear as the split of Anduin's flow,
In the arsenal of sound, a new seed to sow.

Sing, O bards, of Axe-Fx's latest tome,
In studios and stages, where musicians roam.
For in the realm of sound, our spirits to lift,
Cygnus X-3's sorcery is a wondrous gift.

(Best one with the help of an AI "friend" - after much imploring for it to try again and again and again)

This is pure art.

But also how funny would it be if, just like the LOTR novels, all Fractal manuals randomly broke into songs and poems like this throughout them

This has become so confusing to follow. Can someone just explain exactly what the firmware changed using only Lord of the Rings analogies
How about this:
First, Fractal Audio improved their modeling of how real tube amplifier circuits operate/behave.

This resulted in some of us loving that everything sounds even more realistic than before.

Meanwhile we read the equivalent of four books (including The Hobbit), comprising 576,459 words, of people asking how to reset their Amp Blocks.
