I've gotten this to work up to the point of recording the DI track being played back through the Axe. I haven't been able to get the reamped signal back into Logic.

Yes, I do have a converter. I don't typically record more than one instrument at a time but I would prefer to leave my mics connected to the interface vs unplugging when needed.

I'm embarrassed to say this, but I pretty much need my hand held to accomplish this. i.e. set this to this, then this to this, etc.

In my DAW, would I have Axe-FX as Input Device and my interface (Audient) as the Output Device? I' not seeing how to utilize SPDIF.

That’s essentially Strabes method. My interface does have SPDIF in but not out. I’m considering getting another one if SPDIF in & out would improve my workflow with using my interface.

I've done this but have not been able to figure out how to send a recorded DI track to my Axe-FX, play it back and hear the DI track, via my interface, as it's being played back through the Axe. Could you point me to the workflow setup for this? I appreciate the support.
