Thanks for the reply. Yep, on closer inspection you're absolutely right. Probably would have loved it 5 or 6 years ago with a tube amp and a bunch of pedals.

Power Amp Opinions

You may find the old Mosvalve power amps interesting. One of the configurations I'll go out with is the Axe into a Mosvalve 500 (Model #942) and into 2 1x12 cabs. Advantages: Mosfet circuitry that provides more of a tube like feel -- Some coloration, but A LOT less than your Marshall or most...

Disappointment at rehearsal...

Oh man, I soooo had this problem too. First rehearsal out with the Axe was the absolute pits. I had dialed in all of my patches at lower levels and they sounded GREAT. I was doing the victory lap all the way to practice, and until we hit the first song of the first set....... Problem was...

Yep, and the real beauty of this is when you get another tone in your head the tools are there for you to find it.....instead of hitting the gear classifieds. 8-) This thing is saving me money like crazy!! :shock:

General Delivery Time?

When I ordered, the web site also listed the Standard in stock. I ordered my Standard late on a Friday, they shipped it out on the very next Monday, and I had it on Wednesday. That Monday, I got an email from them with shipping and tracking details. Definitely what I would consider great...
