How do you populate your user cab slots? I just got the "all" bundle and I feel like I'm swimming. I ended up bypassing my PEQ that I used to cut <112h and > 5k. Do you use the "mix and match" or do you prefer a particular mic? Where is a good point to start? I use the brown, plexi, 800...

detune guitar 1 step down ?

I use a 1/2 step down pitch block for one song and it sounds decent. Seems to lose a little attack. It is just for one song.."somebody told me" ..The bass player learned the song flat in standard tuning. :evil:

First gigs with the Axe-fx

Global eq settings for output 1 vs output 2??? I tend to use the global Eq as a quick goto tool for solving boominess or excessive harshness. I tried the the PEQ method and found it too difficult to adjust on the fly.

Can Someone Answer Concerning Using Axe FX Live?

Output 1 to FOH Board EQ'd flat on my channel Output 2 to QSC k12 monitor. I programmed about 16 presets for specific song requirements but usually gravitate around 2-3 and use my volume knob to get the in between sounds. I have a VL Ground Control Pro and one yamaha exp pedal for Leslie...

What powered FRFR monitor are you using for live use?

Just snared a QSC K12. I'm loving it. It really sounds like a blanket has been lifted from my sound. Very sweet sound. Highs are musical and lows are punchy.

Just curious what the demographics are out there for powered FRFR monitors. I am in the market for a single powered monitor to use with my rock cover band. Anyone have any glowing remarks about a particular product? How about any not-so-glowing remarks? Please explain how you arrived at...

AXE live at Oprah that Wednesday

Nice tones. The tone on GMA was quite righteous. Was that the axe fx also? PS I am not a huge fan of Melissa Ethridge stylistically but I certainly can respect the performance and talent that she brings to contemporary pop radio. She is also a very nice lady to share a row with on a 4 hour...
