lcd display freezing when playing mp3 through usb

I have the same problem.. Everytime i open Logic Pro the axe fx screen freezes, but the buttons still work. I contacted support and they said i need to send it in. Im leaving to Asia in a couple days for a tour so no USB for me till i get a chance to send it in.

Does your contrast control look like this?

Ok cool thanks guys! Just wanted to make sure the reason for it freezing was not the LCD, because it will flicker right before it freezes

I recently had my LCD replaced by fractal and now am having a problem with it freezing. I checked out the contrast control and i dont recall it doing this before i got it replaced?? I contacted support and they told me "Contrast is clearly working in the video." When switched to the far right...

Anyone getting frozen LCD when using USB to Logic on MAC?

Just tested on Pro Tools.. As soon as i open up any DAW the screen on the axe fx freezes.. Everything else works fine.. Going to test on another computer right now.

Still having this problem with the screen freezing. sound still works as well as switching patches via MFC. Today while recording in logic the axe fx sound froze as well. I was playing a patch with some delay and all of the sudden it just froze and i got a loop of just never ending glitched...

how do i use input 2? i just set the IO to "Rear" and plugged each guitar into the back input.. Is there a way to use both the front input and the back input 2???

USB connection cuts in and out

Looks like it was the top pin connectors on the axe fxs usb input. one of them was pushed down so when i pushed the cable down it would connect. i used a small tooth pick and just gently pulled them back out.. all is well now. that was weird.

Something stuck in LCD behind Pixels??

man that sucks. I think mine is a dead pixel though as it seems pixel is black and is set back in the LCD compared to the other pixels when on. Anyone know if Fractal replaces this under warranty?? Im a little surprised that this happened in less than six months.
