Remove Legacy Version Option from Firmware - Mark l/Mark ll

I'm 100% on board with this, if there's any way Cliff could get the newer FW versions on the Mark I/II then I'd be more than happy to have no access to on the fly algorithms. I could see once the Axe FX III comes out that no longer will FW for past models see release, but as of now, the Mark I...

Under $1000 is my guess too... in fact, I'd hope for a ridiculous price such as $699.99. But I doubt that low. I assume $999.99 would be more likely. To all those I have seen suggest it will be $1700 or $1800, insanity. I know it's important to some for Fractal products to remain "exclusive"...

Axe FX STD/ULT Users... FW 10.X or 11???

Having owned a few Axe units now, and having played through many firmware versions I have certainly noticed there is a difference in tone between firmware 10.X and 11. It's not much of a difference, but there is a difference in how "processed" the amp models sound. The 10 seems more processed...

I would argue the level of conversation you've provided is far more suggestive of someone less interested in facts and more interested in have the "better" toys. People do buy products based on your opinion, yours, mine, others, it all factors in. You and I both know many people who own an Axe...

Hah, I've been expecting these sorts of threads. I assume before long, most will be convinced that the XL sounds "better" than the II does. More "alive", more "real". It's natural... our mind says to us: "Hey, this is more expensive, thus it is better! And how? Special sauce! That's how!"...

Missing the love for 10.11...

And so exposed is much of musicians conversations on the internet in general. The concept of "mojo", the idea that vintage always sounds better, or MIJ is higher in quality than MIA or MIM. It's all in our heads. But, people make a living off letting us believe that.
