    nevermind...there was a cable into the return. I pulled it and the led is back to normal. thought it was clear.. ooops.

    input 2 mode is left only switch it to stereo and the right led goes out left remains on.

    Since updating to AxeFx2_Ares_1p00_beta the bottom 2 LEDs on input 2 LED ladder have remained lit.

    You can also adjust the level going into a track in Logic by using the gain plug-in.

    Yes.... when I started using the Focusrite as master and used two SPDIF cables to get the clock out of the Focusrite into the AXE with this setting: I/O MENU AUDIO~WORD CLOCK~ SPDIF/AES IN and SPDIF/AES SELECT ~ SPDIF The Focusrite only switched to 44.1 when I tried to set it to SLAVE...

    Don't know where I heard that the AXE has to be master. Crap! Focusrite is master, AXE WORD CLOCK set to SPDIF/AES IN and SPDIF/AES SELECT set to SPDIF. Sorry for all the blather...

    Those are the only two options, on the AXE either SPDIF/AES IN or AUTO. The Focusrite is either Internal or SPDIF. When trying to set the Focusrite to SPDIF (slave) it switches to 44.1 and will not lock to the AXE which is set to AUTO.
