I am in the same boat looking for suitable options. Getlostinthesound makes a solid point about getting a real pre, more so a nice one. We spend all this money on the best guitar technology, why not match that for the vocals…especially if you are the lead singer. I have tried some of the pedal...

I was able to revert back and compare 1.0 and 2.02 and there is a significant difference in my patches (at least the ones I created from scratch). I understand this is to be expected, but it is a lot to work through. The BIG differences are volume and the top end EQ curve. V1.0 is about 2db...

Do you have both the III and the FM9? I have a buddy who has the III and might be able to compare this weekend. There is def a bit more stiffness to the patches from version 1.0 and 2.02.

Damn. Any tips or tricks to get some of the sponginess back in the amp block? I mean, I can hear and feel the amp models are tighter (which is great for the low end), but what can I do to get some of the juice back from 1.0?

Using All 3 Inputs (Dual Mono) ?

Hi - I would like to plug a bass guitar into the main FM3 input and run two synths (dual mono) into input 2...can I split the dual mono (via input 2) in the grid to have separate effect chains for all 3 instruments? If so, how do I achieve this? Thanks in advance! -A

I am having similar issues of having to reboot my FM9. Sometimes the first button stops working all together...won't respond to tapping it. Rebooting fixes the problem. Is this a firmware issue?
